Actually, the title I was working on was Fine, Soft, And Lucky: The Ultimate Haircare Routine: Powerful Supplements, Minoxidil, and Heat-Free Styling For Me.
But, this time, the Universe did not allow it.
Some girls have hair issues. I am one of those girls living in constant fear of losing my hair.
Allow me to introduce you to a little whirlwind tour of my haircare routine
🙋🏻♀️ Announce hair type: fine hair, super soft to the touch, and admittedly weak. But, hey! It’s all about accepting what we have, right? 🍀 “Lucky me!” I cheer, for I have been blessed with the absence of an oily scalp. I can go five days without washing my hair, a true miracle, especially in this desert oasis where water quality is not the most glorious.
Every two or three months, I get the usual classic chic French bob cut and a splash of color every three or four months. It’s like a rebirth for my locks, freshening them up and preparing them for whatever UAE has to offer.
Attempting to keep the “gentle care,” I have this “no heat, no fuss” philosophy: I do not use hair dryers, styling tools, or harsh products. Because of my hair type, I have no choice but the au naturel haircare routine approach! 🧖🏻♀️
I diligently take hair supplements, and since I moved to UAE:
• I started using fermented rice water.
• I have discovered Regaine Scalp Foam, crafted to combat hair loss caused by environmental conditions and water quality; this regenerative solution breathes new life into my roots, nurturing them back to vitality.
Fermented rice water, my new secret potion, is gentle and nourishing, and it leaves my hair with a glow like moonlight dancing on the dunes. 🪷
💪🏻 I’m targeting a nurturing approach fostering resilience and showcasing the beauty of my fine, soft hair without compromising its integrity.
The allure of hair dryers!
Many brands beckon with promises of quick fixes, but I resist their charms. While I’ll admit a dryer does come in handy when you’re rushing to an event, I hold my ground against purchasing one. Nevertheless, curiosity has led me to Dyson’s den of wonders in the Dubai Mall. Good reviews and powerful styling tools? I’ll keep this quest in my back pocket for future explorations!
It’s almost 15 years since I have been using hair supplements from Arkopharma Laboratoires. And their Forcapil product is the true hero in my haircare chronicle. If I’m buying them from Romania, Germany, or online, I have to make sure I have the one Forcapil targeting hair loss problems, which on the Arkopharma website looks like this: FORCAPIL® HAIR ACTIV.
🌿 One thing I am looking for when selecting hair supplements is one essential ingredient: Horsetail extract or Horsetail powder. 💪🏻
Some of the common alternative names for Horsetail in the context of hair care products or supplements include Equisetum Arvense (the scientific name of the plant), Shavegrass, Scouring Rush, or Equisetum Hyemale (another species of Horsetail). It’s important to check the label or the manufacturer to be sure you are getting the desired ingredient in your hair care products or supplements.
Horsetail is a plant that contains Silica as one of its components. Horsetail can be a natural source of Silica used in some haircare products and supplements.
After years of testing different hair supplements in my haircare routine, I concluded that these guys from Arkopharma Laboratoires have successfully found the winning combination of ingredients that actually works wonders on my hair loss problems.
You cannot find FORCAPIL HAIR ACTIV in the UAE pharmacies, but you can order it from amazon.ae 💆🏻♀️
Of course, there were times when I couldn’t find Forcapil in stock, and I had to venture into trials with alternatives like:
• New Nordic Hair Volume (for a year)
• And SIKAPUR Silica Softgel Capsules (also, for a year).
I’m not really happy to write about it much, but it is worth highlighting their ingredients.
I now have the Romanian version of Forcapil, and I still have enough supplies to cover me for one more month; next on my list is this product: The Nue GROWTH PHASE. I still have a little time to find it in stores in the UAE.
✅ Diligence and patience are very important when taking hair supplements; results may come after three months, so make sure you integrate them into your beauty routine and breakfast 🥰 Our haircare routine is a lifetime commitment.
✅ It’s also worth highlighting in my haircare routine that Minoxidil is a miracle ingredient for my weak, tired roots. I now use “Regaine 5% Minoxidil for Women,” and I love the results. Once you start using Minoxidil, you must continue diligently.
I’ve seen Regaine products in some pharmacies in Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al-Khaimah, and Abu Dhabi, and you can also order it from Amazon.
💫 So, there you have it: a few words about my haircare routine and the drama surrounding it.
❤️ Stay bold, stay beautiful, and confidently repeat after me: “Hair, I got you covered!”
